The WHITE CUBE is our mini museum for two people. This air-conditioned room enables us to display exceptional museum pieces from important collections both home or abroad.

For CHAPTER 1NE this is Jams, a unique triptych from 1982 by the painter, poet, performance artist, philosopher and rapper Rammellzee, from the collection of Centraal Museum Utrecht.

‘The triptych Jams is an absolute masterpiece from the rich Wildenberg graffiti collection that Centraal Museum has on long-term loan. The exhibition of this work at Het HEM represents Rammellzee’s influence on an entire generation of Amsterdam graffiti artists. His work was exhibited on multiple occasions and he frequently visited the city.’
