Het HEM is accessible free of charge. An admission ticket is required only for a visit to a Chapter or events.
You can buy tickets online or at the door. In Het HEM you can only pay with a debit- or credit card (contactless or with a pin).
No, all tickets include service charges.
E-tickets for a Chapter are valid one time during the Chapter. E-tickets for events are linked to a day or time, these cannot be exchanged.
It is not possible to exchange tickets for cash.
If the screen of your mobile device is of good quality, a printed e-ticket is not required.

No, Het HEM is not a museum and therefore not affiliated with the Museum Association.
Tickets are not personal and can be transferred. Het HEM is not liable for unauthorised use thereof.
Het HEM is open every Thursday to Sunday from 12 noon to 12 midnight.
You will find a Café, Restaurant Europa and Dynamic Range music bar at Het HEM.
Due to the large spaces and limited insulation, it is advisable to dress warmly.

At the moment we are not (yet) fully wheelchair accessible. All spaces on the ground floor Living room with Café, Restaurant Europa and Still Life are accessible. There is an accessible toilet on the ground floor. There are also staff members at the entrance available to help guide visitors in a wheelchair within the building or upon leaving the site, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Het HEM has one wheelchair available for visitors’ use during their visit. This wheelchair can be reserved via telephone number +31 (0)75 7100073 and via info@hethem.nl.
We want to offer this in the future. There are mediators in the building who are happy to tell you more about the displayed artworks.
There’s a drawing table for children in the Living Room.
Yes, you may, without flash and if it’s for your own use. For professional or commercial purposes, permission must be requested via info@hethem.nl prior to the use of a camera.
Free lockers are available at Het HEM.

Bringing pets is not allowed, with the exception of a registered assistance dog. Dogs are allowed on the outside terrace.
