Het HEM is a home for contemporary culture, situated in a former munitions factory on the Hembrug site in Zaandam.
Out of care for visitors and for each other, Het HEM has decided to close its doors until 1 of June. Chapter 3HREE, the exhibition and Café Het HEM are no longer accessible to the public with immediate effect.
In light of the recent developments regarding the spread of the COVID-19 virus, which is progressing fast, we want to take our responsibility with regard to the containment of the virus.
By closing Het HEM we ensure the health of everyone who visits us or participates in our activities. Pandemics such as Corona require us to think not only of the people we know but also of the ones we do not know (and especially people in poor health). Limiting physical contact is the only way to prevent the spread of the virus.
All our activities from today (12/03) until Monday (01/06) will be canceled including reservations for Café Het HEM, for questions regarding opening hours of Restaurant Europa please contact them directly via 020 895 0843 or email@example.com. Via calendar you will find a list of all specific activities concerned.
