Chapter 2WO Public Programme
Shock Forest Group (2019) is an international research team consisting of architects, cartographers, linguists, coders, urban planners, sound makers, biologists, designers and engineers. It is an experiment in open research, where the research categories surface as the research develops. It is also an experiment in alternative education, a classroom without a teacher, where learning emerges as a product of polyphony.

A new Improv Night brings Sary Moussa to Het HEM.
On December 7 we welcome Sary Moussa for a special concert in which both light and sound play an important role. During this concert Moussa will activate the sound and light installation Retaining the Energy, but Losing the Image (by Vincent de Belleval and Nicolás Jaar) in the exhibition space.
Sary Moussa is an electronic musician active in the Beirut underground scene since 2008. He released his first full-length album Issrar in October of 2014 under the moniker radiokvm. In addition to his solo work, Moussa has also composed music for theatre and dance performances, short films, and museum installations.
During his fourteen-week exhibition, Nicolás Jaar invites various national and international artists to join him in Het HEM, resulting in a series of Improv Nights.
This Improv Night is free for visitors of the Chapter 2WO exhibition. Buy your ticket for the Chapter here.
