Shock Forest Group

Shock Forest Group (2019) is an international research team consisting of architects, cartographers, linguists, coders, urban planners, sound makers, biologists, designers and engineers. It is an experiment in open research, where the research categories surface as the research develops. It is also an experiment in alternative education, a classroom without a teacher, where learning emerges as a product of polyphony.

Do-Something-Sundays

Lazy Sundays are over: From now on it's Do-Something-Sundays at Het HEM every second Sunday of the month. Join us for a full day of events all over the building.

Programme Do-Something-Sunday October 13

Space Echo 02 / Space Echo is a new series of live shows that take place in several spaces of the huge building of het HEM. The series is curated by Dynamic Range Music Bar and this second edition features Danny Keen. More info.

Restaurant Europa/ From October 13 onwards, Restaurant Europa is also open on Sunday (afternoon)! Reserve a spot between 15:00 and 17:00 for the eight course lunch menu via Europa.rest.

Chapter 2WO / Of course, the exhibition is open all day. Within the Chapter 2WO Public Programme there are several events today. Join our Visiting Professor Brandon LaBelle during his lecture from 16:00 - 17:00 or get yourself a ticket for one of the Bladerunner performances on 19:30 or 22:30 at the Dynamic Range Music Bar.
