Situated in a former munitions factory, Het HEM is a new home for contemporary culture.
The building's industrial design and our experimental art programme bring ambience and meaning to every event.
The two worlds of Het HEM and Horst are much alike. Both are located within an iconic, yet fraught context of a decommissioned military site, and both offer an ambitious mix of visual art and electronic music.
This connection offers ground for a long-term collaboration, with the indoor and outdoor party:‘New HHHorizons: Het HEM x Horst’ as a kick-off for the collaboration and to celebrate Music & Arts.
During this summer party, the two worlds of Het HEM and Horst are blurred, connected and explored together. Spread over two stages in the Zaanse bullet factory, there are a series of DJs and live acts who show the forefront of (experimental) electronic dance music. Both parties jointly invite an artist for an immersive art installation.
When these two worlds converge, we create a new point of connection and celebrate the emergence of a new horizon.
