Art is our first language. Even while we are closed for renovations, our programming continues. You will find our art programmes at off-site locations throughout the year and on the digital platform The Couch. The permanent installations in Het HEM will remain open to the public after the renovation.
Our music programme focuses on experimental ways of making, presenting and experiencing sound in the building through listening sessions, live performances and musical artist-in-residence programmes. During renovations, we organise music programmes at off-site locations and on the digital platform The Couch.
Het HEM loves books. During your visit, come lose yourself in the library's rich selection.
The building's industrial design and our experimental art programme bring ambience and meaning to every event.
Situated in a former munitions factory, Het HEM is a new home for contemporary culture.
From the 31st of March to the 9th of April Het HEM hosted a fantastic event. For the first time in history, the Fine Art departments from ALL nine art academies in the Netherlands had a joint graduates exhibition. We named it ALL INN; a place of meetings and conversations. Despite the odds of the current pandemic, we still created meaningful connections that are still blooming today.
The CORE, the alumni responsible for organizing the exhibition, cordially invites you to the finissage that ALL INN never had. On the 29th of August, we are organizing a reunion of prospects, artists, teachers and experts from the world of art & design called INNmerge.
INNmerge is a one-day event with panel talks by invited guests, performances and presentations by ALL INN artists; an opportunity for everyone to reconnect and stay in touch.
The CORE, in cooperation with Het HEM, welcomes you once again to the suburbs of the city of ALL INN.
The event is accompanied by food provided by our restaurant Zanini, drinks (at the bar), and some lounge/danceable music.
