Born in the late nineties to a Ghanaian father and a Dutch mother, Lion Kojo always found himself on the peripheries. Influenced by both his father's collection of Reggae and African records, and his mother's Western pop music, eventually culminated in a musical palate that cannot easily be denominated. Playing a wide variety of genres ranging from Hip-Hop, R&B, Soul, Funk, Highlife, and everything in between, Lion tries to incorporate his roots into each one of his DJ sets
